these pictures are breathtaking! if you don't mind my asking: do you postprocess your pictures much? Working with HDR techniques? I tried once to take pics in the woods, but they didn't turn out at all... still trying to figure out how to work with this kind of lighting...

Beautiful, was this hard to expose? I mean, did you use any filters or HDR? :)

I agree that forest shots are common around in dA. But I think that your work stands out. I also love your other gallery.

I gotta ask however, and out of curiousity, why you considered makeing 2 galleries? As both of them contains the same type of amazing work.

It is just that I want here to combine the quotations with fitting pictures. So this gallery takes a lot more effort than just making and submitting pictures. After all it is not always easy to find good, ie. inspiring quotations.

Thank you for all your enjoyable comments.

This is so great, I can't tell you how much I love it.
The fact that the big tree is the main one and not the light is great, makes it so special. The light is great and the colours great, I will favourite this as soon as I finish this.
I wonder, this is actually close to the background I was planning for a traditional art (which will take forever to finish) so I think I'll use this as the main resource for it, the light and colours is great.

Yes, the tree is special. I often had it in mind for a picture, but it was this time, that the light and atmosphere were so unique.
Many thanks for all your enthusiastic comments on various shots, especially this one. If you can make something beautiful with it for a traditional art object, please do.
